This tutorial shows how to create an RSS feed from an existing view. See Creating A Page View From A Taxonomy to see how I created the initial page view.

adverts

Fair play to you for gaining ad revenue from your site, but...

...those scrolling ads while you're already watching a video are too much.

It annoyed me so much I'll never buy a sony bluetooth headset as long as I live.

And the ads won't stay away; so I'll have to. Sorry!

If you download the video

If you download the video (there's a link available in the post) or subscribe via iTunes and download that way you shouldn't see any ads.

Symbol

Nice simple way of doing this but could any one shed light on how to get a icon on the homepage or in block to link to it. Probably really simple but has me a bit stumped and think a lot of other newbies especially those using panels would appreciate.

Front Page Icon

I assume that you're talking about an RSS icon or symbol. There are lot of different ways that you could link to the resulting feed from the home page but a block would certainly do it. Perhaps the following post on customizing the layout and content of the front page would help. http://learnbythedrop.com/drop/131

Symbol follow up

Hi thanks for fast answer, really good link. In the end, simpleton that I am, I found a nice little work around (to my own problem granted :) ) So thought I would post in case anyone else is having problem. used a module called imce. Nice asy module allows you to drop images into any text field (block) and then create a simple html link to rss feed you created using Views. Cheers again for help

IMCE For Images

I'm glad you worked that out. Thanks for coming back and sharing. I have used IMCE in previous tutorials including http://learnbythedrop.com/drop/129.
